Well, the day has come and gone. I won't bore you with all the details
(they were pretty Dull details), but I went back to the courthouse at
the appointed hour (actually about a half an hour before hand) and
waited. People started streaming out of the court room, the trial was
over. The defense won so he had to pay $100.00, and that is all. I got
$12.00 for my trouble. I knew juror's got paid, I didn't realize that
witnesses got paid.
